hey

I spent St Patrick’s weekend in dublin! With my brilliant planning, I came back on Sunday night – thereby missing the parade in London on Sunday and the parade in Dublin on Monday.

Ah well.

Fiasco before I even left London when the plane finished boarding 45 minutes late, the paramedics took the co-pilot away after they had closed the hatch, had to wait 1 hour for them to find a replacement, another 1 hour for him to get there and 30 minutes to make his way thru the airport… So instead of arriving at 10pm, I finally got into Dublin at…330am.

Very rowdy plane because everyone had been necking cans before check-in.

When we took off at 1am, everyone was pretty quiet by then.

Guiness storehouse next morning was pretty brilliant.

I had Guiness, Guiness bread, Guiness pie. Watched 6 nations Ireland v England at a Turkish(?? Irish pubs were full) pub in Temple Bar.

One 150m high spike, Trinity College, St Patrick’s Day fair at Marrion Sq, National Gallery (Yeats was very good)

And lots and lots of green hats and Irish flags. I had fun.

:D Shi
